I have heard about soon to be moms “nesting” in the anticipation of their new baby… But what do you call a bride, who nests for her soon to be husband? Entering the work force in Corporate America, has proven to be a culture shock for me. But despite being exhausted at the end of the week, I somehow spend my weekends preparing for the week ahead. Yes, I, Julie DelGiorno (almost Norine) have started the habit of cooking, and cleaning.
Starting April 2nd 2012, my groom will move in to my tiny (yet cozy) 720 sqft apartment. And every time I open a closet or a drawer, all I can think is “but where will he fit?” Somehow I feel as though, if everything is at least organized, Matt and I will have a smooth transition when he moves in. Probably not? Ok yeah, maybe not.
Well my sweet and thoughtful mommy has bought me the most adorable cookbook. Every page is adorned with swirly fonts and floral prints, with recipes for cutie tea sandwhiches, and heart shaped chicken pot pie, and pumpkin pie pancakes.
She must have known a precious book would encourage me to be a housewife. Now all I need is to register for a (pink) kitcheaid mixer ….
